The n8n workflow integration allows you to automate your video dubbing pipeline and distribute content across multiple platforms. This powerful workflow combines DubLab’s AI dubbing capabilities with automated social media posting and file storage.

Workflow Overview

The n8n workflow consists of two main processes:

1. Video Dubbing Process

  1. Form Submission: Users submit videos via web form with target languages
  2. API Integration: Initializes dubbing via DubLab API
  3. File Upload: Uploads video files to DubLab’s processing system
  4. Processing Start: Triggers the dubbing process
  5. Status Monitoring: Tracks dubbing progress

2. Distribution Process (Webhook-triggered)

  1. Completion Notification: Receives webhook when dubbing completes
  2. File Download: Downloads both original and dubbed videos
  3. Multi-Platform Upload: Distributes content to configured platforms

Prerequisites

Before setting up the n8n workflow, ensure you have:

  • n8n Instance: Self-hosted or cloud n8n installation
  • DubLab API Key: Obtain from DubLab Account
  • Platform Credentials: API keys/OAuth for desired distribution platforms

Installation

1. Import the Workflow

  1. Download the workflow file: DubLab_App_Video_Dubbing_and_Translate.json
  2. In your n8n instance, go to WorkflowsImport from File
  3. Select the downloaded JSON file
  4. Click Import

2. Configure API Key

  1. Open the workflow in n8n
  2. Replace DUBLAB_API_KEY with your actual API key in these nodes:
    • Init Dubbing
    • Start Dubbing
    • Fetch Projects

3. Set Up Webhook URL

  1. Copy the webhook URL from the Webhook node
  2. Go to DubLab AccountWebhooks
  3. Add the webhook URL to receive completion notifications

4. Configure Distribution Platforms (Optional)

Choose and configure the platforms where you want to distribute your dubbed videos:

Telegram

  • Required: Bot token from @BotFather
  • Setup: Configure chat ID for video delivery

Box

  • Required: OAuth2 credentials
  • Setup: Authorize your Box account in n8n credentials

Dropbox

  • Required: OAuth2 credentials
  • Setup: Authorize your Dropbox account in n8n credentials

YouTube

  • Required: Google OAuth2 credentials
  • Setup: Authorize your YouTube account in n8n credentials

Postiz (Social Media)

  • Required: Postiz API key
  • Setup: Configure for multi-platform social media posting
  • Supports: Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, Reddit, and more

Usage

Starting a Dubbing Job

  1. Access the Form: Navigate to the form URL provided by n8n
  2. Upload Video: Select your video file (MP4 format recommended)
  3. Select Languages: Choose one or more target languages:
    • English, German, Russian, Polish
    • Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian
    • Arabic, Turkish, Dutch
  4. Submit: Click submit to start the dubbing process

Monitoring Progress

The workflow automatically:

  • Processes each video for each selected language
  • Sends status updates via configured channels
  • Distributes completed videos to all configured platforms

Customization

Adding New Platforms

To add support for additional platforms:

  1. Add a new node after the Dubbed Video node
  2. Configure the platform’s API integration
  3. Map the video file and metadata appropriately

Modifying Languages

To add or remove supported languages:

  1. Update the Start form node dropdown options
  2. Modify the language mapping in Combine Videos and Languages node
  3. Update the langMap object with new language codes

Custom Processing

You can customize the workflow by:

Troubleshooting

Common Issues

API Key Errors

  • Verify your DubLab API key is valid and has sufficient credits
